In this workshop, participants will gain knowledge of the:

  • Philanthropic landscape in Maine and nationally
  • Principles of fundraising
  • Universal components included in grant proposals
  • Principles of research and resources available to find grant funding opportunities
  • Keys to writing an effective proposal

Participants will leave with a greater understanding of how grant proposals fit into their funding strategy, practical tools for writing, and the inspiration to take the next step.

Who Should Attend
This beginner-level workshop is best suited to people who are new to grant seeking with little to no experience. Workshop registration capacity is limited to ensure that we have opportunities for participation and discussion.
