Finance Unlocked for Nonprofit Boards

What happens when you bring a storyteller and nonprofit accountant together to address nonprofit financial literacy? Finance Unlocked for Nonprofits (FUN) represents a departure from existing finance trainings. FUN relates nonprofit finance through BINGO cards, short videos, and supporting informational kits.

Through this interactive webinar, we will work through the why, what, who, and how of nonprofit finance. We will dig deeper into two key reports – Balance Sheets and Income Statements – and then cover what board members need to know about IRS Form 990, the intersection of finance and fundraising, and oversight. Healthy finance practice can be habit-forming when people are working within their comfort zones, so we will discuss how to get your organization there. 

Participants will be invited to stay for an optional 30-minute Q + A session with CPAs immediately following the presentation.

Intended Audience
This workshop is aimed at nonprofit board members and nonprofit staff wanting to elevate financial knowledge within their organization. Teams are strongly encouraged (check out the discount)! 

About the Presenter
Ginny Lang, Lang Consulting, is a veteran management consultant who has worked in the corporate sector and the nonprofit community as an adviser on all aspects of community affairs for over 30 years. Ginny has served as an expert coach, trainer, facilitator and consultant to an impressive array of nonprofit organizations and is an accomplished speaker and teacher. Lang Consulting specializes in planning, training and development for nonprofit organizations and helps nonprofit professionals and board members develop their leadership skills in the areas of communication, fundraising, outreach, board/ staff development and volunteer management.

  • Payment is due at registration.

Event Details
Participants will receive login instructions in the registration confirmation email as well as in reminder emails that will be sent one day and one hour prior to the live event. 

This webinar will be recorded and the recording will be available to all registered participants for 30 days after the event. Participants who are unable to attend will still have access to all materials.

This MANP-hosted webinar will be hosted in Zoom Meeting and we ask participants turn off their cameras and mute themselves when joining until invited on by the presenter.
