Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services
Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Services is hiring for a Androscoggin County Educator/Advocate. This person will provide school-based education and advocacy services in Androscoggin County. Responsibilities include providing school based prevention education programming to students in pre-K through 12th grades. The Educator Advocate will also provide direct services and support to people affected by sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, sexual harassment, stalking or sex trafficking, including students within the schools. This position is full time for the school year, and half time in the summer months.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent life or work experience, awareness and sensitivity to issues of sexual victimization, strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience with public speaking and/or education presentations, ability to work independently, successful program development experience. Reliable transportation required.
