Service Description
Development Operations touches every aspect of a nonprofit, not just fundraising. Having a uniform, clean donor management database provides insight into the community of supporters, increases engagement, and supports further growth of the organization to serve more constituents. Liz Jenkins, a nonprofit development operations consultant, works with nonprofits one-on-one to set up a new donor management system, Little Green Light (LGL). Or, if the nonprofit already has LGL, Liz will coach the organization to use the system more effectively. Liz will guide the nonprofit through a series of activities during working sessions, and provide coaching throughout the process. The nonprofit will provide a resource dedicated to this project who has capacity to refine the organization’s development processes and the willingness to create a more streamlined way of handling incoming donations. This will result in increased fundraising capacity, integrated online giving forms, define an easier process to acknowledge and engage donors, and a clear overview of your fundraising efforts over time. This foundational work also makes annual appeals so much easier. We will also co-create a Development Operations Guide capturing the how-to of database and donor management.
