Our nonprofit group consists of about 25 individuals who specialize in providing audits and consulting to our nonprofit clients. Members of the group participate in ongoing training programs to develop and maintain their specialized knowledge. We provide training to nonprofit organizations through specialized seminars for board of directors through regional seminars done in conjunction with The Board Network and the Maine Association of Nonprofits. We have consistently been a highly rated presenter at both The Board Network and The Maine Association of Nonprofits training sessions, for whom we conduct many training programs. We also provide assistance in budgeting, forecasting, and projecting financial information. Macdonald Page & Co LLC helps to educate clients in bookkeeping and internal accounting practices, managerial accounting, cash flow reporting, feasibility studies, return on investment, and other internal control mechanisms. Regular newsletters to clients offer the latest developments in accounting and financial affairs. Tax Services Tax planning and preparation is performed by tax specialists who strive to ensure the proper preparation of returns, maintenance of exempt status and identification of unrelated business income problem areas such as advertising, sponsorships, and fundraising.
